Why we started
The Design and Construction Industry has a waste, toxins and Carbon problem, and we are here to help change that through a movement.
The 30 Day | $30K Design Challenge is a national design initiative organized by the Good Future Design Alliance and Meno Home Studios. Our mission: to prove that beautiful, eco-conscious interiors can be created with intention, integrity, and a real-world budget.
Over the course of 30 working days, participants will reimagine a space with a materials budget of $30,000 or less—using principles of low waste, low toxins, and low carbon. Through smart sourcing, thoughtful design, and sustainable practices, these projects will become case studies in how the interior design and construction industry can be active participants in reducing our industry’s harmful impact on people and planet.
